Account questions
You do not need to create an account to place an order. New customers can checkout as guests or register a new account in LOG IN section. Returning customers can log in using their username and password.
To register your account, go to LOG IN and input your email address. This will automatically create your account and your password will be sent out to you in an automatically generated email; you can change it at any time in Account Details.
All wholesale, resale and OEM customers (registered and unregistered) can apply for Business Account. The link to the form is located in BUSINESS ACCOUNT section on our website. Once the form is sent, a member of our customer care team will be in touch.
Our application process is very straightforward and simple. Once you apply for your Trade Account during our office business hours, your account if approved should be ready to use the same day!
No details for customers checking out as guests will be saved on the website.
Registered customers will have their details such as address, email, phone numbers and name stored on the website. We do not have access to your card details and PayPal login details- these are processed through Stripe and PayPal- both payment methods are PCI DSS Level 1 Complaint with the highest level of data and payment protection. However, for ease of use you can save your payment method by adding your card details in Payment Methods section.
“LOG IN” section allows registered users to view their past orders and their status, view and update their billing and shipping addresses, update their payment methods etc. For your security we recommend logging out of your account after each session especially on shared computers.
Only Business/ Trade customers can contact their designated account managers. You will find their details in a welcome email sent to you at the time of registration.

Our Literature section consists of downloadable files in PDF format. To view, click on the intended file, to save the file to your computer- click on the file and once opened, right-click and “save” in the desired destination on your computer.
We do not back order any items. In the event of a product being out of stock you will receive a refund. Because of Brexit and Covid 19 restrictions in place, we are not always able to advise when products will be back in stock. Please contact our Customer Care team for approx. lead times if required.

We carry many hydraulic and industrial products in our stock. Our website is being updated on regular basis, however, on some occasions we would need to refund/ partially refund your orders if products requested by you are not in stock. In an event of a refund, we will reimburse you for the value of out-of-stock items using the payment method you chose when placing an order. We will send you a note with a refund stating what items have been refunded. The normal time for a refund to reach your account is up to 7 working days.

Please note we are unable to cancel or change orders that have already shipped at the time of request of cancellation/ amendment. For returns please see our Terms & Conditions.
Please note that items not listed in the Catalogue are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Once an order for direct shipment from supplier is in process, we are unable to either amend or cancel the request.
Shipping & orders
Please contact our customer service as we only provide tracking numbers for international shipments. However, if requested we will provide you with a tracking number for any of your shipments regardless of location.
Once your order is received by us at Hydraulic Planet, we usually begin working on it immediately (during our office hours) to ensure that you receive it as soon as possible.
Normal shipping times to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are next day/ 1 working day for orders placed before 12 noon and 2 working days for orders placed after 12 noon. All palletized shipments in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are handled by Pallet Network and are a next working day service however some areas may need 2 working days to be serviced. These estimates are for guidance purposes only and we cannot guarantee those delivery times.
All orders to other European countries are shipped with TNT Economy Express service that usually takes up to 5 working days.
Orders to all other countries are shipped with TNT/ Fedex/ DHL with shipping times being tailored to customer’s preference and needs- please contact us for details
All Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland shipments are handled by Fastway and DPD. Should you prefer one over the other, please let us know in the Order Notes at Checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes if possible.
Palletized shipments to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are handled by Pallet Network.
All orders to other European countries are shipped with TNT Economy Express service.

In the unlikely event that your order doesn’t arrive on time please contact our Customer Service Team and we will be happy to assist you. Please allow for an additional day before contacting us as your shipment may be impacted by customs or local strikes and your parcel may be delayed.
Our shipping rates are weight-based, meaning our website automatically calculates the weight of the shipment and assigns it to a relevant service. We are unable to manually amend these charges as they are automatically generated.
We normally do not offer collections from our premises, however, if this is something you wish to do, please contact us. While we can’t guarantee it, we will do our best to assist you.
