STU flow control valve is a one direction adjustable valve/ restrictor for in line installations. The passage on the opposite side is free.
It allows for a flow adjustment of oil passing through and lets you control the speed of hydraulic cylinder or a motor. The valves do not have an integrated hydraulic compensator and the set flow is affected by the pressure drops across the valve. The valves can be easily installed inline inside the hydraulic circuit through the two BPSS threads ports. Depending on the chosen size, the STU-BSPP valves can be installed inside circuits with max working pressure of 400 bar (5800 PSI).
The external body is made of steel, and it is protected from oxidation by zinc plating treatment. The inner components are made of steel, hardened and ground where necessary. The knobs are made of aluminum.

Use and Operation
These valves are used to control actuator’s movements and block in one direction in order to enable the following functions:
- under control descent of a load: load’s weight doesn’t carry it away, as the valve prevents any cavitations of the actuator
- limited maximum pressure in the case of shocks created by loads, overloads or sudden manoeuvrings (load control with opened centre distributor).
Direct flange is ideal for Danfoss engine type OMP-OMR and provides a maximum safety, very low pressure drops and solid installation.

Use and Operation
Sequence valve is used to feed 2 cylinders in sequence: it provides flow to the secondary circuit when a primary circuit function has been completed reaching the pressure setting. Return flow is free. Being insensitive to back pressures, it allows to use the circuit pressure to control both the actuators.
